about me
I am a multimedia content producer living on Gadigal country (Sydney).
I'm currently working as the Senior Social Media Producer for the Australian Conservation Foundation - Australia's national environment organisation - my role is to create engaging digital content to help inspire change and build a movement of everyday Australia's who care deeply about the natural world, and want to live in place where people and nature thrive.
I was born and raised surrounded by greatness. That is the Great Dividing Range and the Great Barrier Reef. My love for storytelling started at an early age, with a point-and-shoot disposable camera. Back then, I would spend hours exploring local parks hoping to capture the undiscovered beetles and lizards of Far North Queensland. As I grew, things changed but the idea of being a great adventurer never did.
By the time I was enrolling in a degree of journalism and photography, I knew for certain this was the life I wanted.
So far, in my brief “illustrious” career, I have worked as a photographer and reporter in Australia, Cambodia and India. With no major regrets thus far (except for the time I ate too much street food in India…), I know in my heart I will be doing this job for years to come.
Along the way I’ve reported from regional newsrooms in Echuca, covered protests outside refugee detention centres in Brisbane, and documented the intersection of politics, people and place through a camera lens and a notebook. My work has extended into research with Griffith University, where I’ve contributed to projects examining migration, labour and the lived experiences of communities often left out of the national conversation.
At my core, I’m a nature lover who feels most at home in the water, on a trail, or behind a camera at sunrise. Whether it’s coral reefs, rainforests, river systems or suburban parklands, the natural world has always been both my subject and my compass. Telling stories about people and the places they care about is what drives me, and I’m always chasing the next horizon.
